they said it's 65 decibels, which is acceptable. but 65db is the volume of a normal conversation in a crowded restaurant. if the uncle need to shout over their music, it's most likely they were above 65db

PS :
I think the angst experienced is legit, it's already very stressful around the mrt with the crowds, the last thing you need is some blasting music that no one asked for. Nothing against the gig performers per se, more of a systemic problem with busking that I'm highlighting.

As a busker, we need to get rid of that ‘superstar’ attitude. Busking should be soft and not like playing in the concert. From what I heard from the video…yes they are loud.

some people are just antisocial and self-centred, they cant tolerate "noise" and will shut others off. this guy could have walk away since cant take the "noise" but choose to be selfish and self-centred.
