A motorist in a parked car was rushed to hospital. A truck smashed into an overpass sending debris flying as it slid across the motorway and crashed into a car parked on the right shoulder in New York on Monday. In video captured by another truck, the tractor trailer is seen hitting the South Broadway Bridge on I-87 in Rockland County around 12.20pm. New York State Police said it struck a Toyota parked on the right shoulder as it slid across the road. The driver was rushed to hospital but is expected to survive. The truck driver, Pernell Harris, is reported to have sustained no injuries, but was ticketed for driving a vehicle that exceeded the maximum height of 13 feet, 6 inches. #5News #truck
