@mothershipsg: About 1.3 million people gathered along both banks of the Gan River in Nanchang, China, on Oct. 1 to watch a fireworks and drone show celebrating the country’s National Day. According to Jiangnan Metropolis Daily, the police formed moving human barriers to control walking speeds towards metro stations and guide revellers along. Drones also monitored the area from above, working alongside officers on the ground. A visitor from Guangzhou told the newspaper that he previously dreaded the crush of people after such events, but this time was able to leave quickly by following the police’s guidance. #mothershipabroad
