@dailymail: International tourism to the US has continued to decline, with overseas arrivals falling 11.8% in August compared with the same month last year. The drop came during a summer when the country was hosting the FIFA World Cup, which had been expected to drive a major increase in international travel. US Travel Association CEO Ge\off Freeman said the industry is seeing a combination of higher travel costs, trade tensions and concerns about whether foreign visitors feel welcome in the US. The association expects the US to receive around two million fewer international visitors this year than in 2025, according to Freeman. #usa #travel #tourism #news #worldcup
