Shepherd Ratings :
Title: The Seven Deadly Sins
Rating: Downright Condemnable
Summary: Knights branded with the capital vices are the heroes. Meliodas, a demon, gropes Elizabeth for the laugh. The holy war is goddess against demon. The sins are not repented. They are the brand. The gore is the hazard. The teaching is the crest.
Main Teaching: Sin can be named. It cannot be the mascot.
Supporting Scripture: “If we acknowledge our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive our sins and cleanse us from every wrongdoing.” (1 Jn 1:9)
Condemning Scripture: “Now the works of the flesh are obvious: immorality, impurity, licentiousness, idolatry, sorcery, hatreds, rivalry, jealousy, outbursts of fury, acts of selfishness, dissensions, factions, occasions of envy, drinking bouts, orgies, and the like.” (Gal 5:19–21)
Suggested audience: Not for children, and not as formation. Adults only if the point is to refuse the brand.
What do you think? Does a later power-up for Elizabeth cancel the joke the show taught first?
