That isn’t all either, he was taunted and abused his whole life in Autumn by family. That was his first experience and understanding what family is. When he got to Spring he was abused by Tamlin, you can see it in how he flinches away and hesitates when speaking out for Feyre, but never himself. The kindness he saw was from Lady Autumn, you can see it when she helps Feyre, but it’s behind closed doors, quick, subtle, and a ghost of what it should be. Lucien extends that same kindness and love with Feyre UTM and was the only person to after UTM when Rhys waited months before reaching to a mate he knew was slipping away, Lucien kept her from crumbling way sooner. Lucien sees through Feyre’s glamour, and still is her devoted friend in Spring when she returns to ruin his home. Despite all that, he respects and loves her to follow her through Prythian into Night Court, only knowing it as a place like Hewn City. And yet, he listens, learns, and offers all his can to help Feyre’s found family, but his Band of Exiles is ridiculed by Feyre multiple things. So so so many things that are missed I could write.
