@skulloljorv: breathing.essence said In 2007, at Lapchi in Nepal, H.E. Garchen Rinpoche was asked to give an instruction of Jetsun Milarepa. What followed was a teaching of uncompromising precision. Generosity is brought back to the release of self-grasping. Moral conduct to abandoning deception. Patience to fearlessness before ultimate truth. Diligence to remaining inseparable from practice. Meditation to abiding within the natural state. Wisdom to realizing the nature of mind. The remaining instructions turn toward skillful means, spiritual power, primordial awareness and aspiration, each stripped of display and returned to its essential purpose. These words do not dismiss outward virtue. They ask what must transform within us for virtue to become genuine. Milarepa is remembered throughout the Kagyu tradition as a great Tibetan yogi and master of mountain retreat. Here, in a landscape deeply associated with his life and practice, Garchen Rinpoche transmits an instruction attributed to him, not as philosophy to admire, but as a measure against which to examine one’s own practice. What remains when generosity no longer serves the self? When patience is no longer avoidance? When practice is no longer performance? Perhaps perfection begins where self-grasping ends. H.E. KC :
When the body dies, the mind dies. It is kamma that produce the new body and mind to another being. If mind does not dies, then impermanence will not apply, means our mind is eternal. That is not in accordance to the teachings. See MN38.

Sarath Seneviratne :
You are wise. It is disappointing to be a witness to the way they abuse the word “ Buddha “ and His Teachings.
They talk of hells. Heavens. Rebirth of a person. Karma as a punishment/reward system etc all of which are adulterated Hindu concepts forced down the throats, which have absolutely no connection with the ORIGINAL BUDDHA DOCTRINE - OBD.
Finally one must retaliate and give a semblance of the Original Buddha Teachings ( OBD ).
When Prince Siddhartha meditated for six long years with his 5 colleagues and nearly died, through malnutrition and starvation; He realized that this mundane path was wrong. OBVIOUS to him.
Then, much to the disappointment from his colleagues, he went alone and did the reverse of meditation for one long year.
That led to a “ paradigm shift “ through his wisdom which comes at the level of a change “ like a spontaneous mutation “ in the person to the Supra-mundane , to see Reality and the true nature of everything.
The concept of DUKA or sadness/ disappointment etc existed long before Prince Siddhartha and Vedas. You don’t need a Buddha to explain that there are moments of sadness or disappointment in life. But you need a Buddha or a wise friend ( Kalyana Mithra ) to show what DHUKKA is, which is what the Buddha analyzed. Dhukkha is a sequence of stages that constitute a “ thought process “, the very beginning of how we live and comprehend life. Initially it appears difficult to comprehend and one must have faith and climb “ the ladder “ to Nibbana.
It is important to understand the biological and quantum nature of how we perceive reality. The mind has to stop "grasping" at the illusion of "I," thereby breaking the cycle of Bhava, Punar Bhawa and Samasara and enter the path to Nibbana. Happiness. Bhawa is the thought process. Punar Bhawa is the next thought process. The succession of thoughts is Sansara. Life is Sansara. This moment is life. NOTHING MORE. BE WISE. EXTRACT THE TRUTH. KALAMA SUTTA. - the Buddha. 🙏🏼
