@pivot.health: After 12+ years in oncology, these are the 5 nutrition habits I'd focus on if I were a breast cancer survivor: 1️⃣ Fiber, 30g+ a day. Beans, lentils, berries, chia, and whole grains support estrogen metabolism, gut health, and a healthy weight. Most women get about half that. 2️⃣ Cut back on processed foods. Swap packaged snacks, processed meats, and refined carbs for whole foods your body recognizes. 3️⃣ Eat Mediterranean-style. Build meals around veggies, olive oil, fish, nuts, and legumes. It’s an anti-inflammatory pattern you can actually stick with. 4️⃣ Limit alcohol or skip it. Even moderate drinking is linked to a higher risk of breast cancer recurrence. 5️⃣ Get protein at every meal. Tamoxifen and aromatase inhibitors can affect muscle, bones, and metabolism. Protein helps protect all three, especially when you pair it with strength training. You don’t need a perfect diet. You need a plan that fits your treatment, your body, and your life. 👉 Want to go deeper? The Survivorship Summit is instant access, so you can start watching tonight.
