Mr. Abu is reportedly currently on the run, while the matter has been reported to the appropriate authorities at Sabo Police Division. I have also received information that his father, Officer Abu Ogiaga Braima, is a police officer and prosecutor in Auchi. There are concerns about whether he is assisting in making his son available for proper investigation. I therefore urge the Commissioner of Police, Edo State, and the Nigeria Police Force to thoroughly investigate this matter and ensure that all parties are treated according to the law.
