A claim surrounding the Nepal–China disaster is now drawing attention online. China Insider with David Zhang has alleged that some of the rescue footage coming from the Chinese side is being produced more as propaganda than as a genuine representation of rescue efforts. According to the claim, Chinese rescuers are operating on the Chinese side of the disaster, while on the Nepal side, the Nepali Army and Nepali rescuers are carrying out difficult rescue operations on their own territory, working to save people one by one. The distinction is important: this is not a claim that Nepal’s rescue operations are fake. The allegation specifically concerns the way rescue activities on the Chinese side are being filmed and presented to the public. At a time when communities on both sides of the Nepal–China border are facing the consequences of a devastating disaster, transparency matters. Rescue workers deserve recognition for the lives they are genuinely trying to save, and the public deserves accurate information about what is actually happening on the ground. The claims made by China Insider with David Zhang should be independently verified before being treated as fact. What do you think—should rescue operations during a disaster be documented for public information, or can such footage sometimes become propaganda? #NepalChina #NepalFlood #RescueOperation #NepalArmy
