I own a pair of trousers that has no fewer than 32 rivets—you don't have that many. I consider the "hat-style" rivet—featuring a small outward-facing point in the center—to be the finest type, and I like them to have a nice, shiny finish. The inventor of these rivets on jeans was Jacob Davis.
