@fellasfinance: The caption on the post reads: "Opening a Junior ISA or pension is the most financially responsible thing you can do for your kids. But when people do, they often only think about the things it can buy them. I couldn't watch this without thinking about the mental benefits it can bring too, and how having that backing, and the security that comes with it, can change the way you potentially navigate life. This is one of my favourite episodes yet from @moneygainspod @Sophia Jarvis, CFA | Founder has not only taken the fantastic opportunity provided by her dad, but she's now paying it forward by helping others do the same with @miawealthapp! Absolutely incredible 👏
literally pointless now. If you’re children are young, by the time they reach pension age, if it even exists anymore, they’ll be so old it will be pointless. Just slap it into a junior isa, teach them about saving/investing as they grow and they’ll continue to do it themselves and can take the money whenever they like or need.

Don’t get a pension for your child, get them a junior isa. This is not a good idea and won’t help them buy a house which is much more important than a pension
