My relationship of 5 years just ended and he ended it he said we weren’t compatible and doesn’t want to keep doing this cycle anymore which the cycle meaning whatever an anxious attachment person and an avoidant man goes through. We both were emotionally overwhelmed and when he gets overwhelmed he wants to run but this happened 3 years ago and we broke up for 6 months but then came back to each other. This time I’m curious if he would come back eventually not that I want to start anything until we both change but at the same time I think it’s a mistake and it was an impulsive on his part. I’m moving forward and trying to find peace but I still have it in the back of my mind that would he does come back?

Bruh mine left almost 4 months ago, I moved 2 months in and she yelled at me and said I shouldn’t have moved. N why would I move when she told me it would take time and it’s my fault because I wanted us to get back together right away… and now we almost talk everyday but we kinda just in a grey area

7 years of this. he came here on a spousal PR. left 34 days later. contacted me 5 months later. ghosted me for a few months. came home a few months later. stayed 57 days and left. said he hasn't loved me in a long time. unsure why he came back

But why do they always come back until they finally say they’re not? He always came back to me until the final time where he expressed this behaviour and no signs of him returning. But he didn’t move on to anyone or anything, I think it had more to do with external things that affected his decision
