@thisismoney: Antarctica is seeking volunteers and workers with some roles paying up to £100,000 a year. ❄️💰 The Australian Antarctic Program is recruiting people to live and work at its research stations in Antarctica, with some positions offering annual pay packages worth up to £100,000 once allowances are included. Successful applicants receive free accommodation, meals and additional isolation allowances while spending up to a year on the frozen continent. The programme isn't just looking for scientists. Roles are available across a wide range of professions, including IT specialists, electricians, plumbers, carpenters, mechanics, chefs, doctors, meteorologists and biologists. Applications for the 2027/28 Antarctic season are due to open throughout October, with workers helping to support scientific research in one of the most remote environments on Earth. The catch? You'll be living thousands of miles from home, with months of isolation, extreme weather and temperatures that can plunge well below freezing. #ThisIsMoney #Money #News #UK
