@thethenagainsociety: Man… if you grew up in the ’90s, you already know certain cars had a different kind of presence. For me, this was one of them. The 1996 Chevy Impala SS. Especially the black one. 😮💨 Long body. Low stance. Those five-spoke wheels. That dark, clean look. When one came down the street, you LOOKED. I wasn’t thinking about specs when I was younger. I wasn’t breaking down engines or studying everything Chevrolet put into it. I just knew one thing: I wanted one. 😂 You’d picture yourself older, finally making some money, pulling up in the exact car you used to stare at when somebody else drove past. That was part of growing up too. We had dream shoes. Dream houses. Dream jobs. And we definitely had DREAM CARS. Now the ’96 Impala SS has crossed into classic territory, and that somehow makes seeing one hit even harder. Because I don’t just see a beautiful old Chevy anymore. I see a younger version of myself thinking… “One day.” Experience then. Again. 🧡 #96ImpalaSS #90sCars #ClassicCars #CarTok #FYP What was the ONE car you swore you were going to own when you grew up?
