She completed a master's degree in media arts and sciences at the MIT Media Lab in 2020. Then she started a PhD at MIT while simultaneously enrolling at Harvard Law School. She became co-president of the Harvard Space Law Society. She graduated with her Juris Doctor from Harvard in 2024. While everyone else spent the COVID lockdown making sourdough starters, She and her husband were in their backyard in New Hampshire building homemade satellite antennas out of parts from Home Depot. That backyard experiment became Northwood Space - a satellite ground infrastructure startup that she co-founded and runs as CEO. Her husband is the CTO. Founders Fund and Andreessen Horowitz led the seed round. In 2025, Northwood raised 100 million in Series B funding and was awarded a 49.8 million contract by the US Space Force to upgrade the Satellite Control Network.
