The airport’s new $1.3 billion, 355,000-square-foot terminal is expected to hold its official ribbon-cutting ceremony ahead of its scheduled opening next week. The new facility will feature an open, high-ceiling design with 14 gates, replacing the existing terminal just a few hundred feet away. Passengers can also expect more seating, upgraded charging stations, improved parking and more restaurant, bar and shopping options. Architects say the design pays tribute to the airport’s Old Hollywood history.
