exactly moot like wth? I'm planning on being a vegetarian with the exception of 1-2 meats but I cannot become fully vegan because I have multiple health conditions such as iron deficiency anemia, thalassemia and more. I literally can't become vegan. and SOME vegans who are completely healthy harass us for not being able to become vegan or just try to tell us to take supplements. I NEED MORE THAN FUCKING SUPPLEMENTS

With the current technology that we have, it's impossible to live in a fully vegan world. So much of our medicine alone pulls from animal products. There will be people who will always need to have animal products, or will always have to use a lot of plastic, or always have to do something considered bad for the environment to survive. If you're fighting for ecological welfare and rights (which animal welfare falls under), you need to accept all of these things if you don't want to be ableist. There's no way around it.

Wait if this was to someone with autism or something similar that’s just genuinely disgusting. I hate how vegans do this a lot and is probably part of the reason I’ll never become vegan. I hate how they have to take constant moral high ground just makes them look pretentious and in this case extremely ignorant and bigoted

People act like disorders, diseases, and allergies don’t especially limit people. Like idk what I’d do if I had a soy allergy. I do know that I have dangerously low calcium so I try eating and supplementing both, but there are only so many tums and pills a person can take and afford before I have to start supplementing for it in more aspects of my life.
