Safety first always no matter what , then the lesson can be given, I couldn't go to sleep knowing my kids need me and they are stuck somewhere, even if I had to walk to get them

noooo id go get her , then she'd get told the next morning, grounded all of it but 1st make sure she's safe and can call me when in trouble at any age

I wouldn't care if they lied I'd be happy that they felt safe enough to call me , I'd done my job correct as a teen i never felt comfortable ringing my parents if I needed rescuing from bad situations

My daughter is 21 and has her own place, but she knows that no matter what time of day or night it is, if she’s ever stuck on a night out, a date goes wrong, or she finds herself in any situation where she needs me, I’ll be there for her. She knows she can always call me. I even keep my phone on loud at weekends, especially so I never miss her call in case of an emergency.

i dont sleep properly unless my chidren are home. ive gone to pick up my daughter from a sleepover at 2am just because she couldnt sleep and wanted to come home, no questions asked. That mum would never forgive herself if something had happened to her girl.

make sure they're safe, you can talk to them later about putting themselves in unsafe situations but them being safe and at home is far more important, its not nice to find out our kids have lied but they're just human, you were that age once and we all did it

I can’t ‘settle’ or sleep until all my children are home and safe. Even my 20 year old if she goes out at night I’m not settled at all

Absolutely not! we're gonna have words tomorrow, you'll lose priveleges for a while but thats a bridge to cross when we meet it, until then i'm on the way. Stay somewhere there's people and a lot of light and whoever you went with is coming home too. Mine are only 8 and 6 right now 😅

my daughter 34 and mum still would pay for a taxi or pick her up it my duty as a mother to insure she safe. regardless of age she drunk she vunrable .
