@reuters: French high-school students blocked access to hundreds of schools across the country as protests over poor education conditions entered their third week. The government says the demonstrations have been hijacked and have morphed into urban violence. by my last year of college in France I was in lessons from 8 till 6, with a single hour for lunch and two fifteen minute breaks throughout the day. homework for every single subject, weekly and monthly tests, and a total of 20+ individual exams at the end of the year for the bac. I sat these in 2017 during heatwaves, we had to complain to even get a single fan per classroom. those who struggle in this system are admonished not encouraged. it's time for change. students have forced change the world over, they can do it again here. all power to the people ✊🏻
