The thing is with Kia optima I have a GT and u need to maintain it every 6,000 it says in its book and if u don’t yes u will have issues but I’m in Australia so there built slightly different, also the Gt has a different engine tune than a normal optima or other base models. It really depends on what model u get. And the stealing issue is worse in the US due to them lacking a immobiliser. Where in Australia there legally mandatory to be installed into the car.

I own one of these cars. I cannot say which because I’m rebuking this energy. It has WAAAAAAAAAY way way way over 100k miles. I have a kid in college and another one graduating HS right around the corner. The car has been paid off for years. If tiktok is diagnosing my imminent car failure I’m going to be devastated.

2011 kia optima on the original trans and engine, all stock parts besides the oil filter. no wiring issues whatsoever

I don't trust any European vehicle that's not German made to go past 100,000 miles like not Jaguar Land Rover Fiat Lamborghini Ferrari Maserati and I know there's more but I can't think of them right now

I have a Land Rover and at 16,000 miles you are right the oil from the upper engine leaked onto the lower engine having to get the engine replaced v they paid for it because it was still under warranty, but my experience owning a Land Rover, which I’ll never have again it’s not only are they horrible cars they really don’t wanna do any wars you have to fight them. They didn’t even want to give me a loaner or Rent-A-Car. But since it happened and I was like 100 miles from my house, they had to pay for one.
