@stjude: According to his mom, St. Jude patient Reid loves "all the sports". He was playing football, baseball and basketball until June 2025, when he was diagnosed with brain cancer. Reid underwent chemotherapy and proton beam radiotherapy after being referred to St. Jude for treatment. He completed treatment in March 2026, and returned home. His current goal is to get strong enough to play flag football. Reid also formed close relationships with his care team. "When we come back to St. Jude for checkups, we look forward to seeing those people who really invested in Reid," says his mom. "Everyone there is on a mission. They truly care about these kids and getting them well and giving them the best possible life."
