@streetvoices11: Same Question… Two VERY Different Answers 😭 A street interviewer asks two women a controversial question: if a woman can choose not to continue a pregnancy, should a man also have some legal way to opt out of fatherhood and future child-support obligations? One woman agrees that the argument raises a fairness issue, while the other initially says that’s simply “the way it is” before the conversation pushes her to reconsider. The legal distinction is that abortion concerns control over pregnancy and someone’s own body, while child support generally concerns financial responsibility for a child after birth. Still, the clip raises a broader question about what equal reproductive responsibility should actually mean for men and women. U.S. voters, should fathers have any legal opt-out before a child is born, or should child support remain mandatory once the child exists? 👇 #politics #news #abortiondebate #reproductiverights #fathersrights

Having a child should never be a trap for anybody a man should not be forced to take care of a child. He never wanted just like a woman shouldn’t be forced to have a child she never wanted.

Facts!! I’ve never and do never want a kid. I make that clear with anyone I date. So if by chance it happens. Unfortunately I don’t want to be there. Fair is fair. (This is theoretically possible off this video)

It absolutely is a double standard tho💯. We get to decide we don’t want to be a mom but they can’t do the same?

There is millions and millions in unpaid child support. Let’s be so for real, many men do just simply walk away.

I think a man should be able to sign their rights away. When the woman finds out she is pregnant he should have a 1 time chance to walk away. But if he decided to stay that is it he is in and accountable from that point on. If a woman can choose at that point (and every woman 100% has a right to that choice) then so does he. But if he is in he is in and can’t change his mind later.

The reason men don’t have the right to “opt out” and are forced to pay is just that. It’s a business the government set up and the courts make money off it. It always goes back to money.
