@gravityassistus: Why is a sphere’s surface area (4πr²)? The “4” comes from unwrapping a cylinder: circumference (2πr) × height (2r). But why does the cylinder match the sphere? Follow the bands, their areas stay equal as they move up. #Math #Geometry #VisualLearning
didn't really prove that the area is equal, kinda same as "trust me bro"

I need more proof about the two areas being equal, everything else makes sense

I can't figure out how to make 4 pies into a square, I think that's wrong.

where is the proof that the band always matches?

how would the world map look when projected to a cylinder?

also keep in mind that the cylinder must not be harmed when unwrapping

could you fill both with water and measure the water volume to see if they are the same

just use calculus to prove it

Let’s see you try to fold that cylinder over the sphere. If they have the same area, then there shouldn’t be any extra material from the cylinder.

The trick is the asserted axiom and the jump from a circle to a triangle. One💧can not derivate the two ❤ postulates that are not there, especially when they don't have the time ⌛️

You’ve not proved the bands have the same area. You’ve just said it without substantiation
