The loss of Luke, Lynnea, and Logan is heartbreaking, and we pray daily for the victims and the injured, including Ms. Ayres and her baby. We are truly sorry for your pain. We fully respect the verdict delivered by the jury on September 25. We are not here to downplay the facts. Modou understands the gravity of this accident and is filled with deep remorse. As his sentence is to be determined on October 29, we humbly ask the Court and the community to consider his life as a whole—his work, his family responsibilities, and his remorse—with both justice and humanity.
