If my team fails I always take responsibility. They were under my management so if someone did something wrong that means i wasn’t paying attention or didn’t give clear instructions. Blaming someone is counterproductive and keeps the bar low

Bullshit, in real corporate world the more senior or liked by boss blame it on other and gain more trust in project failure even if that person was the best performer for what they did.
