I think you nailed it!!! my dismissive avoidance is getting slightly better at listening and not just dismissing any concerns I have. he used to just act like he didn't hear me or just say, don't be weird! Now he just gets quiet and then some times 2 weeks later he will actually try to implement what we talked about
