@thefliphut: $15 dresser thrift flip and I need YOUR help finishing it 👀 Before we get to the vibe check, here's where we're at: pulled all the drawers and old hardware, made some repairs, then tried to strip off this horrendous white paint. Stripper barely touched it, so I switched to my carbide scraper instead (should've just started there honestly) and it came off clean. Sanded it down and left myself a little test square to try out some stain colors. #minwaxpartner @Minwax I’m using Minwax’s One Step stain and topcoat because it's genuinely one of the easiest products for beginners, color and sealant in one, no extra steps. Here are my three options 👇 🌾 Pickled Oak — keeps that natural wood tone, adds a little neutrality, really lets the grain show through 🍫 Dark Walnut — deep, chocolatey brown, timeless and classic 🖤 True Black — all the depth and drama, grain still peeks through underneath I already have a favorite... but I'm leaving this one up to YOU.
