@shadows.and.ashes2: Essi Daven, known as Little Eye, was a talented poet and troubadour — and one of the few people who managed to see beyond Geralt of Rivia’s cold exterior. She fell in love with the witcher, even though Geralt could not give her the kind of love she hoped for. Their story was brief, quiet and painfully human. A blue pearl became the symbol of everything that remained unspoken between them. Years later, Essi died during a smallpox epidemic. Dandelion stayed with his friend until the end and buried her with her lute — and with the blue pearl she had treasured. Geralt fought monsters and survived things that should have killed him many times over. But some people simply disappear from our lives… and there is no monster to kill to bring them back. A little sacrifice. A little love. And a memory that remained. 💙 #TheWitcher #GeraltOfRivia #EssiDaven #WitcherLore #DarkFantasy
