@iaingoode: So many of you ask me about ARFID, and I always say the same thing: I’m not an expert I’m just someone living with it. So this is a little part of my story with ARFID, what it’s like for me, and how it’s affected my life and the things I eat. If I can do this you can too ☺️ #fyp #scottishtiktok #arfidawareness #tryingfood #lifewitharfid
I'm almost 63 and only recently learned about ARFID. I think I have had it for my whole life.

Well done for raising awareness. It was on ITV news that sadly a beautiful wee boy passed with malnutrition due to ARFIDS

I'm loving that this is now being recognised as an actual condition! I'm 41 and still never had a fruit or vegetable and I'm not sure I'll ever get there so well done you for trying!

If it wasn’t for your videos Ian I would never of pushed myself to seek help.. my dietetics also think I have arfid but having to do a food diary etc first! A lot of my issues are also fear.. il always push myself and give new things a try but the textures are horrific!! I’ve even thought about blending my foods and then trying to make them thicker in the hopes to try and ‘fu’k’ the texture problem off lol xx

Thank you for inviting us on your journey. Showing us your strength. Educating people on ARFID. And helping many of those with ARFID feel less alone.
