I’m so glad you talk d about how Teddy calling himself a “useless puppet” is, in fact, him having an ego lol. I feel like if Blue Lock fans took the time to simply Google what it means to have an ego, a lot of misconceptions would be cleared.

I also think the reason Ego benched Rin is that Rin hasn’t changed since the NEL. The entire point of Rin’s training with the monks between the NEL and World Cup was to take another look at his ego. Through most of the series, Rin’s sole purpose for playing was to beat Sae, not be the best in the world, just surpass his brother. Then, his goal became to crush Isagi, even saying that crushing Isagi’s ideas was his greatest joy. The problem is that his goal is reliant on other players, his obsession with Isagi and Sae. The point of his training was to grow beyond that mindset, to desire to be the best in the world because that’s what HE wants. In the France game, we see Rin go right back to his old ways, Isagi makes a play which infuriates Rin and causes Rin to blindly try to destroy Isagi’s play. That’s why Rin got benched, not because he tried to steal a goal, but because he hasn’t changed at all from where he was in the NEL.

If Teddy really is a type of bait then that would tie around with him being, “a useless puppet”

All of Isagi's goals play out the same way: they always happen at the very end and always rely on luck. He is the protagonist, and that’s how it will always be. They lost to the French so that the final match against England would turn into yet another game decided by Isagi’s luck. At the start of matches, we are introduced to "New Gens"—we saw it with Hugo, and now it’s happening with Teddy. Then, Isagi will do what he does in every match: he’ll devour his opponent, and that’s that.

we are in the stage 2 of agi theory, in the nel he was abandoned, warned reo of nagi's downfall, the best happened (nagi 5 stage volley) then he got eliminated, so stage 1:agi's abandn, stage 2:everything is better than before, stage 3:everything goes as agi said, so in chapter 364 fox has japan's strategy already figured out, or "everything is better" for england, their downfall is coming very soon, i guess chapter 366-370.

I agree that both systems are similar In the sense that they both rely on favouritism, which Hugo figured out that's why he could stop Blue lock and England. My personal theory is that the England players will actually rebel once they realised they had been lied to as when Teddy gets shut down, Fox isnt going to replace him, I believe that once they actually rebel that's when they'll lose. Correct me if I'm wrong cause I'm open to new ideas.

ego to give up your ego like Kunigami was told by Ego. it's strange that he wasn't subbed in for this match especially with Lockhart being unstoppable
