@carnationmilks: Warning: One piece is NEVER enough. This garlic rosemary pull apart bread is soft, fluffy, and packed with cozy fall flavor thanks to Carnation! 🥰 #garlic #garlicbread #pullapartbread #cozy #carnationmilk Cheesy Garlic Pull Apart Bread Ingredients ¼ oz package of INSTANT quick rise yeast 1 Tablespoon sugar ½ cup Carnation Evaporated Milk + ¼ cup water 3 Tablespoons salted butter, softened 1 large egg 2 ⅓ cup all purpose flour ¾ teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon garlic powder 1 Tablespoon fresh chopped rosemary (or 2 teaspoons dried) Cheesy Garlic Filling 5 Tablespoons salted butter, softened 2-3 garlic cloves, minced fine 1 Tablespoon fresh rosemary (or 2 teaspoons dried) 1 Tablespoon fresh parsley (or 2 teaspoons dried) Scant ¼ teaspoon salt ¾ cup mozzarella cheese ¼ cup parmesan cheese 2 Tablespoons melted salted butter (for topping) How to make cheesy garlic pull apart bread 1. Measure the Carnation Evaporated Milk and water and place in the microwave for 30 seconds. In the bowl of a stand mixer or large bowl, add the yeast, sugar, and the warm evaporated milk mixture. Use a whisk to mix until combined. Cover and set aside for 5 minutes until foamy. 2. Add the egg and softened butter and whisk again. The mixture will be chunky. This is OK! Add the flour, garlic powder, salt, and rosemary. Use a wooden spoon to stir until combined. The dough will be sticky. Place the bowl on the standmixer, and add the dough hook attachment (or alternatively knead by hand). Knead the dough on medium speed or by hand for 3 minutes until it starts to pull away from the bowl. If the dough is too sticky and not pulling away from the bowl, add more flour 1 Tablespoon at a time. Once the dough starts pulling away from the sides of the bowl, knead the dough on medium speed or by hand for 8 minutes. To test and see if the dough is ready to rise, pinch off a piece of the dough and spread it between your fingers so it’s thin enough for light to pass through it without tearing. If the dough tears during this, knead for a little bit longer. 3. Reshape the dough into a bowl and place into an oiled bowl. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap or foil and allow the dough to rise in a warm spot until doubled in size. About 60-90 minutes. 4. While the dough rises, make the filling. Add softened butter, parsley, rosemary, salt, and garlic. Mix until combined and set aside. Grease a 9x5 loaf pan with butter and set aside. 5. Punch down the dough and divide the dough into 12 equal pieces on a lightly floured work surface. Press the dough flat into a circle like a pizza and spread 1 teaspoon of the filling across the surface area of the dough. Add 1 tablespoon of mozzarella cheese and about 1 teaspoon of grated parmesan cheese to half of the dough. Fold the side without the cheese over the cheese and place round side up in the prepared loaf pan. Repeat with the remaining dough. 6. Cover with plastic wrap or foil and allow the dough to rise for another 45-60 minutes. 7. Preheat the oven while the dough rises. Adjust the oven rack to the lower third and preheat to 350 degrees. Remove the plastic wrap or foil and bake the garlic bread for 45-50 minutes until golden brown. You may need to cover loosely with foil if it's browning too quickly. 8. Remove the garlic bread from the oven and brush with melted butter as soon as it comes out of the oven. Allow the bread to cool for 10 minutes in the pan. The bread will be nice and crispy on the outside and soft and pillowy on the inside. Carefully remove from the pan and serve warm with other fall favorites!
