They divorced while still loving each other, I'm pretty sure they are still great friends and that allows them to co-parent the kids way better that if they just ignored it and waited till they hate each other to divorce. As a kid of this type of parents, that was the best decision my parents could make and it allowed me to enjoy them together as friends, instead of watching them tear each other down if they were in the same room
