@dreamingofmemories1: Robotics company ‘Figure’ gave its retired humanoid robots a Terminator-esque farewell, sending them into molten steel inside a 75-ton electric furnace. The company says that it chose to melt down its older F.02 models to protect the proprietary hardware inside, with Arnold Schwarzenegger suggesting the method. Engineers trained the robots using movements from stunt performers, rehearsing their jumps onto large airbags in California before taking them to a steel foundry in Finland. There, they jumped autonomously into the 75-ton furnace, creating a scene that looks straight out of a sci-fi film
