they promised to make him captain America in future btw. and he was waiting for his moment, because he's been playing bucky for 15 years, and his whole screentime is only 30 minutes... I understand his frustration. but I also love Anthony's captain America, this is all just marvels fault.

This isn’t a race thing. He’s just saying he was promised to be captain America eventually. It was a broken promise. Bucky was also Captain America in the comics. Someone saying they’d prefer to see Bucky as Cap doesn’t make them racist. I like Sam and Bucky but I have personal ties with Bucky because I’ve felt represented in a way by him. Saying I’d prefer him as Cap doesn’t make me racist. It just means Bucky has gone through a crap ton while feeling like a monster and being a mantle of hope as Cap, would be an amazing thing to see and amazing development. Sam as Cap doesn’t bother me. It’s not my favorite choice but I’m excited to see what they do with Sam as Cap.

Bucky literally became captain America in the comics this isn’t unreasonable. It was supposed to be him. Anthony is GREAT but I get why seb wants the shield. Bucky makes a comment in the show if falcon doesn’t take the shield back he will. And also. Seb TRIED FOR CAPTAIN AMERICA FIRST and they made him Bucky instead

In the comics Bucky only becomes cap after Sam and Bucky only fills the mantle because Sam was absent for some reason sooooo marvel hopefully is doing it right because Bucky didn’t want to be cap and only did it because it was a necessity for the world

from what I understand, and I may be completely wrong, this "whatever" refers to him agreeing to be Captain America if Marvel makes that offer in some future project, which happens in the comics for a short period of time. Either way, this gives people space to attack Sam's Captain America even more than they already do, and I hope he apologizes

Here’s the thing. Marvel screwed over Anthony and he deserves better so I get people are upset. My thing is this has to be a joke from him but also him being Cap was something Marvel alluded to. They have fucked this whole stage so I don’t know where they are going with either character but they both deserve better.

Don't get the issue here. He and Anthony were promised the role and it's clearly evident that he won't be Captain America ever because he's already signed to DC's Me Freeze so he's obviously making a joke to Macke here but the Marvel fans didn't do their research. Seb is jokingly calling out Marvel for the false promise btw. Bucky is predicted to get deleted in Doomsday. Sick of problematic Marvel weirdos.
