His is the command, and to Him you will be returned.” (Surah Al-Qasas 28:88) In the spiritual teachings of Mawlana Shaykh Nurjan Mirahmadi ق, the reality of the Holy Face (WajhAllah) carries immense significance in understanding Divine Authority, the Muhammadan ﷺ reality, and the spiritual inheritance of the Awliya. Sayyidi explains the seven holy points of the face and their relationship to seven Divine Attributes. These seven points are understood as: • Two eyes • Two ears • One nose • One mouth/tongue • One forehead SEVEN POINTS — SEVEN DIVINE ATTRIBUTES ✨ 1. FOREHEAD — AL-MUQTADIR (المقتدر) THE POWERFUL DETERMINER The central authority of the Holy Face, represented at the forehead, the governing point of the seven realities. 🔵 2. RIGHT EYE — AN-NOOR (النور) THE LIGHT The reality of Divine illumination and guidance. 🟡 3. RIGHT EAR — AS-SAMI’ (السميع) THE ALL-HEARING The reality of hearing and receiving heavenly guidance. 🟢 4. LEFT EYE — AL-HAYY (الحيّ) THE EVER-LIVING The attribute of Divine Life and its eternal reality. 🔵 5. LEFT EAR — AL-BASEER (البصير) THE ALL-SEEING The reality of Divine Seeing and spiritual vision. 🔴 6. NOSE — AL-QADIR (القادر) THE ALL-POWERFUL The attribute of Divine Power, represented through the single point of the nose. 🟣 7. MOUTH / TONGUE — AL-ALEEM (العليم) THE ALL-KNOWING The reality of Divine Knowledge, represented through the mouth and tongue. The seven points of the Throne are described through its seven supporting positions: Four legs, two armrests and one seat. These seven points are connected in the teaching to the seven holy realities of the Face. The Throne represents an immense authority, while the Holy Face carries the reality of an authority that does not perish. Allah ﷻ declares: لَهُ الْحُكْمُ وَإِلَيْهِ تُرْجَعُونَ “His is the command, and to Him you will be returned.” (Qur’an 28:88) Through the Muhammadan ﷺ reality, the servant seeks to understand these heavenly attributes and their spiritual inheritance. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ ✨ THE SEVEN ETERNAL LIGHTS AND THE SEVEN AWLIYA ON EARTH In Sayyidi’s teachings concerning Ashab al-Kahf (the Companions of the Cave), the seven essences and the seven holy openings are explained in relation to the spiritual realities of the Holy Face. The teachings also discuss the seven eternal flames before the Emerald Throne and the inheritance of these realities by the Awliya. The seven Awliya upon the Earth represent seven spiritual positions, carrying and reflecting these realities by Allah’s ﷻ permission. Their inheritance is through the Muhammadan ﷺ light and the spiritual transmission of the blessed Golden Chain. The spiritual authority of the Awliya is not independent. All power, knowledge, guidance and authority belong to Allah ﷻ.
