I’ve never heard anyone tracking the final 3 arriving to breakfast. We all know the producers format by now, they save the people being considered for murder to be the last to walk in, so if you keep track you will have a good idea of who the traitors are at least half way through, if you make it to the end that’s great level of intel, no?

A feature of Enigma was that a letter could never map to itself, so it was possible to eliminate one possibility from the off. The designers thought this was a strength but it was a flaw. This is the root of the analogy.
