“We don’t follow the old laws anymore”. Okay, but they were still laws put in place by god. So at some point he was okay with this form of punishment, but because it’s old it doesn’t matter? Regardless if it’s old or new, god still thought that was a righteous way to go about things. It just doesn’t seem very “all good” to me.

The fact that there is an old "version" or whatever and a new version of the bible exists - only proves that the bible was written by a regular person that lived at that time. . If the bible was a real God thing/statement - it would be absolute. It won't be changed, the rules would be constant. . I don't understand why people don't see it. I think this is the biggest clue that the Bible is just a book written by some man without the help of "higher beings".

Because Christian’s aren’t under any of the laws of Moses, they are under the law of Christ. Christ came with the new law which made the old obsolete. Some of the old law is restated in the new, but most isn’t

That’s why they came out with the New Testament. So they don’t sound as crazy to people in modern times because they have some outrageous shit in that book. 😂 like growing two different crops side by side with each other is a sin or wearing clothes made up of more than two different types of fabric. 😂
