@elkothetraveldog: While travelling through Texas Elko started acting strange. He stopped eating his dry food and only ate small bits of his wet food. While playing with his toys he would only chew on one side of his mouth or spit the toy out and paw at his face. This was obviously alarming to us, especially because we had never been to Texas and we were far from our regular vet. We were recommended @gullyanimalhospital Gully Animal Hospital in Arlington Texas where Dr. Franklin found a loose tooth in Elko’s mouth and confirmed Elko needed a dental cleaning. The surgery went perfectly and Elko is recovering well. We are so grateful we found such a good vet so far from home.
