@sunira.momof2: how much of my daughter's first years I missed. 1. She was 18 days old when I went back to work. 2. Restaurant shifts, then a corporate job on top. I was always on my way somewhere. 3. Someone was always with her. My mom, my mother-in-law, my husband. Just not me. 4. One night she was so sick I held her in the recliner till morning. Then I went to work anyway. 5. Everyone said that's normal. I kept nodding like it was. 6. When I got pregnant with my son, I knew I couldn't do it again.
