@shealeylawfirm: Why would a bifurcated trial have mattered for Reddington? Because separating the issues could have fundamentally changed what evidence the defense was able to challenge. Had Reddington initially been granted a bifurcated trial, the defense could have attacked the government’s timeline and other evidentiary assumptions before those issues were effectively folded into the broader case. A bifurcated proceeding can allow a defendant to focus the court’s attention on distinct issues separately… rather than having the jury consider everything as one interconnected narrative. For Reddington, that distinction could have been significant: the timeline, chronology of events, admissibility and reliability of evidence, and the government’s theory connecting those pieces could each have received more targeted scrutiny. When the timeline is central to the prosecution’s theory, the ability to challenge when events allegedly happened and what evidence actually establishes those dates can be just as important as challenging what happened. #lindsayclancy #kevinreddington #patrickclancy #truecrime #truecrimecommunity
Here’s a thoughtl as well, research has proven that hearing is the last sense to go and people in coma’s continue to hear. So each time, detectives, police officers, nursing team physician, psychiatrist visitors, spoke about anything made allegations about the incident she heard.. so is it possible when she awoke and people were telling her this is what you did her subconscious recalls all of the conversations that were held around her bedside while in a coma leading her to believe what they are telling her is factual.

I truly believe that Patrick and his family have connections in these courts and that is why everything went the way it did. I hope somebody can investigate and figure out where the connection is so that this case will be moved to a different county or something.
