It’s such a struggle. Because these VC-backed companies do so much damage in the long run to our profession but having a living wage and what can feel less like a scarcity-experience in private practice is enticing to many. But as we’ve seen of late, they will absolutely partner with insurance companies to make our overall pay worse, to try to train AI large language models and deny coverage.

i applied and they told me its a requirement to work with children. that’s not my area of expertise and you should never be forced by any company to work w a population.

i’m an ocd therapist in a private practice in new york and i get so many patients from NOCD that absolutely hated it and they told me horror stories like therapists starting with level 100 exposures off the rip and it’s always put a bad taste in my mouth but this is an interesting perspective
