In my experience, dating was always problematic. It was three months of fun, followed immediately by this person trying to change me into somebody I didn't want to be. From 1971-2012. It never changed.

Honestly it’s a mix of things. Social media, unrealistic expectations, too many options, fear of commitment, ghosting, situationships, trust issues… and people always thinking there’s someone better out there.....and many other reasons.
