Richard Luk :
$0.85 is 30% of $2.83
so if you get loads that are $2.83/mile or better. choosing 30% is better. if not, $0.85 pays better.

Take the 85 because its either company or 1099 so you will be responsible to pay for something like fuel so cpm puts all that money back in your pocket

There’s companies out here that don’t really give you 30% or real ratecons so it’s better for a company driver to get mileage

% is always the better deal for the driver. Less miles and the same money or more.

30 percent of nothing is still nothing unless you know the true freight up front

say load paid $2500 × 30 % = $750 load was traveling 1500 miles you loose big time . at .85 cent that's Ober $2,000 what always looks good might not be onve you understand how many miles away load needs to go

I make 30%. I’d make 1/5 what I make now if I got paid .85 per mile lol.

Hank :
I’d lean toward $0.85 per mile if loaded and empty miles are paid. The percentage could earn more with strong-paying freight, but you’d want to see actual weekly revenue statements and know what they include in gross.

Jose🇺🇸🇨🇺🇺🇸ELTREMENDO :
It depends on the load: 30% for short loads and 0.85 for long loads. You waste a lot of time loading and unloading in short loads
