@thepottymouthguru: Most men will never sexually assault a woman. But I think we’ve let that become the finish line when it should be somewhere near the fucking basement. What happens when it’s your friend making her uncomfortable? When everybody else is laughing? When saying something makes you the awkward one? When believing her could cost you a friendship? When you’re the only guy in the room who seems to think something isn’t okay? Being safe isn’t just about the harm you personally refuse to cause. Sometimes it’s about whether you’re willing to make things uncomfortable for another man so a woman doesn’t have to be the one carrying all the risk. ❤️🤟🏻🌿 #cornell #rapeculture
I honestly believe that most men don't realise they've done SA, because they think SA requires violence. I know my attacker didn't think he did anything wrong.

Men: have you ever called out another man when there were zero women around to see you do it? That’s the shit I’m interested in. 👀❤️🤟🏻🌿

My partners friend group cut one guy out immediately without informing him at a rumour that he had been sexting an underage girl. Never found out if it’s true or not but the rumour alone was enough for them

this!! this is what i’ve been saying to all the people having convos with the boyfriends/husbands/sons about consent. that’s the wrong approach. THEY KNOW what consent looks like… often, they don’t care. What u actually need to be talking about is “are u comfortable with dissenting to protect someone at your own personal expense? are you willing to feel awkward, uncomfortable, outcasted, & mocked by ur fellow men, to do what’s right and protect a woman?” THATS what y’all need to be asking and preparing young men for

I used to work as an Electrician. I had a 17 year old apprentice. I almost got into multiple fights on job sites calling dudes out for the things I heard them say about her. Made my skin crawl, and I would have thrown hands if needed.
Everyone deserves to feel safe and respected in their day-to-day life.

these sorts of discussions are fkn wild to me. I have been heavily involved in my local bdsm community for years, and calling out shit like that is just what we all do as a community. the thought of not loudly calling out coercion and excommunicating the perpetrators of just blows my mind.
and y'all think were the perverts 🙄

there is a study, where they asked men, different sets of questions, one using the word rape, the other with questions that didn't use the word rape but describes multiple forms rape.
Men said no they wouldn't do that to the question that used the word rape, but the same men said yes they have done that to the question that described different form of rape, but didn't call them rape.
"Good" men don't want to look at their pass of interfere when their mates are doing things that are rape, because then they have to accept that they aren't good men, and they have raped women

When women say “all men,” I don’t get defensive. I hear it as a responsibility. I know who I am, and I know I’m not a predator. But as a man, I still have a responsibility to be part of the solution, to speak up, challenge other men, and help create a world where women and girls are safe from sexual violence. Instead of saying “not all men,” I’d rather ask, “What can I do to make sure I’m one of the men helping?”

Keep in mind over 60% of men said they would do those things if they wouldn't get caught
