I’ve read so many Narusasu fanfics, and I’ve noticed something really beautiful so many writers portray Naruto and Sasuke in such similar ways, even though they’ve never communicated or discussed their interpretations with each other. They always say, “This is just how I see these characters. This is my interpretation of them, it might not align with everyone’s interpretation“ but somehow, it does. We see them the same way. It almost feels like proof that what we’re seeing isn’t something we’re simply projecting onto them. This is who they actually are and how they are with each other. That’s why people who have never spoken to one another can still write them in ways that feel so incredibly consistent, because we’re all seeing the same things in Naruto and Sasuke. It’s like an unspoken understanding between everyone who sees their relationship the same way. No matter what universe or setting they’re placed in, their personalities and the dynamic between them somehow remain the same because that’s simply who Naruto and Sasuke are to us.
