the field my great grandfather built his home on, my grandpa grew up on and lived on, my dad raised pigs in the original barn and we still farm to this day, is referred to as Nelsons, after a family that grandpa rented the house out to for LESS THAN A YEAR in the 70s.

Car field (abandoned car on the property line), crack shack (house next to it that definitely has drugs), tractor lake (flooded back in the 30s and had a tractor at the bottom of the pond)

Lone tree farm. Had one single tree on the whole property. Tree got hit by lightning and has been gone for over a decade.

we have a farm with like four fields named after tragic events "Buried Combine, Broken Planter, Burnt Combine ...." lmao like why are we trying to remember days like that for. literally everyday season it is like reliving our worst days 😅

A family friend has a field they named The Bunny Ranch. They named it after the famous Nevada brothel because it used to be owned by his mother in law.

I bought a farm from a great neighbor with the last name “Butt” he was a contractor and had a big hole on the farm to dump wood scraps etc. in it. So when I bought the Butt farm everyone asked what I did with the butthole? 🤦🏼🤦🏼😂😂
