Im always so iffy on the “friends discounts.” Because i do believe you should take care of your friends in any ways you can. I am having a friend do my hair for my wedding, she said she’d do it for free. However, i’m not a bum and do plan on giving her like- $200. Another friend is DJing, it will be his first gig so we’re negotiating price. Prob around $400. Saves me money but they still get money for their time

I had someone who I considered a best friend dump me (mostly) because of the second one. she said I wasn’t there for her because I would take a while to text back sometimes. She said she expected immediate responses, not hours later. Still stings though and I blamed myself.

The only time I'll bitch about a text not being answered is when I'm sent on an errand (i.e. grocery order pickup), but don’t respond to my text message about confirming the order and I'm sat there like a dumbass waiting for the text and service workers are just staring at me cuz I don't have proof of the order to pickup.

My literal best friend has sent me to voicemail the past 3 times I called him because he got called back into work for something and needed to focus. Know what I did? Fucking nothing. I'll get ahold of him when he's available because he has a life outside of being my friend.
