genuinely why are people upset about this, this is the EXACT thing people were complaining about (people who mainly play qp having to play comp for drives) and now that's fixed so we just get to play the game however we all normally do and get fun rewards?

if it’s in both modes, that’s better for the game. drives week is notoriously bad in comp because everyone who doesn’t play it is trying to play it all of a sudden. so many leavers and bad players. i think it’s a good change

I also thought it was crazy at first but actually when you think about it the reason comp drives are so bad is because you have a massive influx of people who don’t normally play comp filling every lobby with people who have no clue how to competitively play the game because they want a cool cosmetic signature but now those people can just play casual and still get their drive signature I think this change could actually work out

This is a good thing. People that play in quick play and people to play and competitive have two different speeds. The reason drives always feel bad is because the quick play players would hop onto competitive to get the rewards and mess up the flow of the game. But if quick play players can stay in the quick play and earn the rewards. The game modes will feel the way they do the whole season.
