Went once to the poste italiane office to buy a stamp. They told me the person who was selling stamps had finished their day so I couldn’t buy stamps .. at the post lol

I tried to renew my Italian passport. it was only possible to book an appointment once every two weeks (ONLINE, on the website!) and even then they only worked from 9-11 Monday Wednesday Friday and 14-16 Tuesdays and Thursdays. then on their website they write that they have this system because they're so overwhelmed yeah buddy maybe if you worked more than 2 hours a day you could get something done!

Cerco di fare la carta prepagata online . Dopo 3 settimane la carta non si attiva. Vado alle poste per almeno un rimborso . Mezz'ora con IL DIRETTORE DELLA SEDE e mi fa "guarda hai solo richiesto lo smart wallet. ." Lo smart wallet che viene con la carta. Un'altra mezz'ora E due operatori dopo mi dicono che arriverà il rimborso direttamente a casa. Non mi hanno ancora rimborsato . 60 euro persi. Sipario ❤️

I had to pay a fine and the lady said that “it wasn’t registered yet” but I had it for 4 days now (you pay less if you do it in less than 5 days). At one point she complains that “there are two different codes, it’s not right” as if I’ve made the fine or something, asked her if she tried the other code, she didn’t, MADE HER TRY IT, worked, she started screaming not to tell her how to do her job, that clearly doesn’t know how to do…

Oggi sono andata alle poste a ritirare una raccomandata. Chiamano il mio numero, vado allo sportello e mi mandando ad un altro sportello a fare la coda dietro ad altre persone tutte l senza numero e tutte che dovevano ritirare raccomandate. Non ho capito. Ma almeno ho ritirato quello che dovevo che purtroppo era una multa

My dad needed something urgently, I sent it through USPS overnight. The problem is they then gave it to the Italian post office to complete delivery. It showed up 6 months later.

When I lived in Italy I had to mail my ballot to my home country and I waited until the last day because I was scared of Poste Italiane. Traumatised to this day

I remember to this day when I called their helpdesk to help me locate my package.. the lady told me that I was “p*ssing her off” (yes she used those exact words) and hung up on me 😂😂

Once I was given an appointment at 1pm, I go at 1pm, the employees saw me going forwards the door to open it, it was closed, I looked at them with my phone in my hand with the appointment on display, and they flipped me off.

After a while I found the solution: if one office doesn't helps you, just leave it immediately and go to the next office, without an appointment. Continue doing so until you find an officer who helps you. And do yourself a favor and don't speak any Italian, not a word, even if you know Italian. It's more likely they help you if they think you don't understand what they're saying.

mind you this is a small sede for my little part of the neighborhood I take an appointment Thursday cause Tuesday they told me my packages got delivered "no guarda che devi venire domani perché in realtà la consegna era per giovedì e quindi te lo possiamo dare solo il giorno dopo" okay i make an appointment for Friday "no guardi non le possiamo rilasciare il pacco dobbiamo per forza mandarlo indietro al mittente" I wanna cry e adesso devo chiamare Ikea per farmi rispedire dei pezzi e per ora non mi hanno proprio risposto
